Inventive Techniques People are often asked to be “creative” or “inventive”. This course shows 10 specific techniques for being inventive. Much of this course is based on the work of Altshuller, (The Triz Method) and related methodologies (ASIT and others). These techniques were created on the basis of studying tens of thousands of patents and identifying the similarities of the key insight in the “inventive step” of these inventions. The key insights fit into a small number of categories, regardless of the actual scientific or engineering discipline. These techniques apply equally to business as they do to engineering endeavors. |
